We are so excited to get to share this post from Katherine Bree Walker Photography featuring Weddings by Aimée! With an emphasis on local traditions, this wedding featured a number of local Hawaiian small businesses and, of course, lots of personal touches that compliment the couple’s style. If you ever wondered what a Slow Wedding might look like, this is a shining example!

Kind words from Bree:
Special shout out to my dear friend, colleague and fellow Slow Weddings Network member Aimee Newlander. Actually, she’s the founder of SWN and the mastermind behind Sara and Rick’s Kauai wedding. I can’t think of a more perfect wedding that embraced the Slow Weddings Network philosophy. Sara and Rick’s Kauai wedding was filled with nuances special and unique to them as a couple while weaving in local Kauai culture and traditions. They also had lots of time throughout the day to connect with family and friends. All this would not have been possible without the extremely mindful and passionate vendors (mostly local) working together as a team:
