Naomi Rose is a wedding officiant and the owner of Santa Cruz Officiant, serving Santa Cruz, Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey. An ordained minister and certified celebrant, Naomi has officiated more than 400 wedding ceremonies. From state park elopements and rustic weddings to luxury venues and black-tie events; from first marriages to blended families and second marriages; and from atheist and nonreligious couples to spiritual-but-not-religious and Jewish celebrations, Naomi creates one-of-a-kind wedding ceremonies for couples across an enormous range of backgrounds, beliefs and origin stories.

Her ceremonies are dynamic, unique and relaxed while still being emotionally substantive. Couples frequently describe her ceremonies as “our favorite part of the whole day,” “nothing short of magical,” and “exactly what we wanted it to be and somehow more than we knew it could be.”

As a founding member of the Slow Weddings Network, Naomi shares the organization’s commitment to moving away from the frenzied pressure of the wedding industry and creating celebrations rooted in mindfulness and collaboration with local businesses.
